Some things are truly amazing on FM 1735

Last week I was able to attend another walk through at the campus of Northeast Texas Community College and with the start of the fall classes, the campus is a very busy place. I think back to the people who struggled and fought for and against this college in 1983 and wonder what some of them think of how it has grown by leaps and bounds and beyond.
From 1984 to 2014, student numbers and programs at the college have been just more than anyone could have imagined at the start. I think one of the most profound things to happen was the advent of the Internet. Those folks back in 1983 probably had no idea that electronic devices would be such a common place thing for living and learning in 2014. Buildings age with time and use and the college is no exception.
