Rainbows and Blue Laws

•I can’t remember the last time I have seen so many rainbows in June, but then again sometimes I forget where my boots are.
 
•Are you old enough to remember when stores just started to be open on Sundays? There were several things you could not buy because of the “Blue Laws.” It was a goofy law back then, just another reason the good old days were not that good. Somehow I’m guessing a Republican got that changed.
 
•Ann Coulter wrote this wonderful article about how “Real Americans hate soccer” and she is catching a lot of heat from the liberal media. I read it and found it funny and mostly true. Soccer is a boring sport to watch on television and they don’t have any cheer-leaders. You can’t have a real sport in America without cute cheerleaders. You claim baseball is a real sport? Baseball is just the same as golf but with more players.
 
•Jimmy Haslan (owner of the Cleveland Browns) is demanding that Johnny Manziel tone down his off the field antics. Manziel counters with “I have the right to enjoy my time off.” Somewhere Coach Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M) must have the biggest smile on his face knowing the hardest job he has ever had coaching is someone else’s problem now.
