Former Pittsburg resident to play in poker event

His name is Richard Harrison and he is a 1973 graduate of Pittsburg High School, but you may recognize him by his stage name “Richmond Harrison.” Mr. Harrison grew up in Pittsburg and has always been an avid poker player. “When I was a kid my buddies and I use to get together and play five card draw and seven card stud and we had a lot of fun,” said Mr. Harrison. Mr. Harrison later moved to California and eventually settled in California where he got into acting. “I mostly did commercials, like the Cluster Cereal commercials, I was in a lot of those. I also was in a few small movie roles, most people recognize me as “T’boo Ted” from “Fletch Lives” with Chevy Chase and I also did a few episodes of “Cheers”. I love theatre the most though, but it also pays the least,” Mr. Harrison said. As his acting career began winding down Mr. Harrison began to play more and more poker.
