Cemetery donations requested
Memorial Day services at Independent Hope Baptist Church will not be held this year.

Mother’s Day program
Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church members will host their annual Homecoming/Mother’s Day program on May 11. The program begins at 11 a.m. and everyone is invited to attend.
The pastor-moderator will be Rev. B.R. Hargest and the speaker of the hour will be Rev. Dr. Patrick McBeath from Dallas. The mistress of the program will be Sister Ebbie Crear. The church is located 3.5 miles east of town on Farm to Market Road 2254.

“Authentic Manhood Challenge”
Emmanuel Baptist Church will be hosting an event for all men called the “Authentic Manhood Challenge” which is a movement that calls on men to live the life of truth, passion, and purpose. Based on the life of Christ, “33 The Series” will be used to help men discover meaningful insight into the current state of manhood and assist in understanding the realities that have created cultural confusion. Identical sessions will be held on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings at the church so men can attend a service that best fits their schedule.

Pastor and Wife’s Anniversary
Spring Hill Baptist Church members invite everyone to join in the celebration of our Pastor and Wife’s fourth anniversary on Sunday, May 18 at 3 p.m.
Pastor C.J. Duffey of Color Blind/Anointed Ministries and church family will be our special guest. The church is located at 4016 State Highway 11 East, Pittsburg. The Rev. John M. Brooks is the pastor of Spring Hill Baptist. Family and Friends Members of the Pine Bluff First Baptist Church are having a “Family and Friends Go Hand and Hand” day Sunday, May 4 at 3 p.m. The public and surrounding churches, choirs, dance teams, soloists are invited to attend and participate. Special guest will be Pastor Dr. M. McMIllion and The Greater Shiloh Baptist Church. Pine Bluff First Baptist Church is located at 409 Fulton Rd., Pittsburg. E. A. Ballard Jr. is the pastor.
