Lady Pirates to offer basketball camp

Head coach John Chatham along with the Pittsburg High School Lady Pirate basketball team invites girls to attend the “HUA” (heard it, understood it, and acknowledged it!) basketball camp this summer for girls entering grades four through nine as of fall 2014. The camp will be held June 9 through 12 from 9 to 4. Campers will need to bring shorts, tennis shoes, and a basketball, or a ball may be purchased for $10. A camp bank will be available along with snacks and drinks available for purchase, and lunch will be provided. Coaches will be on duty for one hour prior to camp and one hour after the camp each day for parents’ convenience. Camp staff will include: head coach John Chatham, assistant coaches, and special guests of the camp. Camp activities will include, but are not limited to: shooting, passing, rebounding, lay-ups, ball handling, 3-on-3 games, free throws, hot spots, competitions, and other games.
