Duke TIP qualifiers recognized at meeting

Several middle school students were honored at Monday’s school board meeting because they qualified for the Duke TIP talent search. Board-members handed out congratulatory certificates to students to award them for their hard work and dedication.  
The Duke TIP 7th Grade Talent Search helps educators and families determine how advanced their students’ academic abilities truly are. Students are identified based on standardized test scores achieved while attending elementary or middle school.
