Pirate and Lady Pirate track members qualify for regional meet in Commerce

The Pirate and Lady Pirate track teams recently competed at the Area track meet in Commerce on Thursday, April 17.
 Junior Terry Johnson qualified in the 100-meter dash on behalf of the boy’s team with a time of 10.91 seconds.
Sophomore Ayanna Palmer, Junior Nakaya Brown, sophomore Maxie Ivory, and sophome Justoni Farmer qualified in the 4X200-meter relay on behalf of the girl’s team.
Those that qualified for the Regional meet will compete in Commerce on Friday and Saturday for a chance to advance to State.
