Scarbrough’s descendents to gather for family reunion

The descendents of Oliver Baxter (O.B.) and Annie Mae (Stephens) Scarbrough will have its first family reunion on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Elwood Lake.
“This is the first year for us to have this get together. We hope to have a wonderful time and plan to make it an annual event,” said Liz Walton.
Elwood Lake is located in the Piney Grove Community. Take Highway 11 east of Pittsburg, turn left on Rusk , turn right onto farm-to-market road 556, turn right onto farm-to-market road 2455, turn left on Woodchuck road and the lake will be on your right.
All family and friends are encouraged to attend the reunion. A covered dish meal will be served and everyone is invited to bring a dish.
If small children are in attendance, please bring a life preserver for each child. The reunion will be held very close to the lake.
