Pittsburg High School competes in one-act play

Pittsburg High School competed in the District 13 AAA University Interscholastic League (UIL) One-Act Play Contest on Friday, March 28 at Texarkana College.  They performed the “Cripple of Inishmaan” directed by Belinda Matlock, PHS theatre teacher.  
Justin Mejia won best actor for his portrayal of the lead character.  Johann Strottman won an All-Star Cast honor.  Megan Moore and Hailey Marshall both won All-Star Cast honorable mention. 
Jake Lain received a tech award for lights.
The entire cast and crew will advance to the Area competition, April 9.  
The cast and crew include Megan Moore, Hailey Marshall, Johann, Strottman, Justin Mejia, David Hullett, Alyssa Saunders, Aaron Franks, William Yocum, Destiny Holmes, Sierra Kennedy, Jacob Lain, Rebecca Simmons, Brianna Stacks, Sydney Lineberger, Veronica Rodarte, and Mykala Stratton.
