Heather Hoover-Salomon named as top profile nominee in Austin Journal

One of Pittsburg’s top students has made a name for herself in Austin. Heather Hoover-Salomon, executive vice president of Operations at uShip, has been nominated for the Austin Business Journal’s 2017 #ProfilesinPower Award.

The daughter of Wyn and David Hoover, Heather graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and was one of the first employees of uShip.

uShip is an online global shipping marketplace that connects people to transporters who have the ability to move large, bulky items. These can range from cars to cranes, freight to furniture, and households to horses. And even strange and unique shipments as well.
