Local man arrested for evading  police

Pittsburg Police Officers arrested Cordell Tison, 21, of Pittsburg, on April 15 after being notified of a reckless driver in the area of North Texas Street.
Officers checked the area and were able to locate a vehicle matching the description given in the 300 block of Cypress Street. 
The vehicle, a 2012 Chrysler, struck two parked vehicles and began to evade PPD officers. 
The vehicle then struck a utility pole at the intersection of Mattison and Cypress streets and continued travelling on city streets refusing to stop for PPD officers.
The vehicle eventually crashed on County Road 2106.
