Several Pittsburg students accepted, place at art shows

Several Pittsburg students were invited to participate in and placed in several area art shows in Longview, Camp County and Hughes Springs.
The 57th annual Student Invitational at the Longview Museum of Art had the several students accepted into the exhibition. 
They were Tana Wooten, Hunter Keen, Beatriz Monroy, Kate de la Rosa, Anita Chan, Joshua Brisbin, Nayeon Sim, Tyrese Rhymes, Stephanie Najera, Lilia Contreras and Breanne Howton. 
Monroy won second place in the drawing division. 
There were 17 schools from East Texas represented in the show. 
At the Camp County Youth Project Art Show, Trista Bryant placed first in the 8-12th grade 3-Dimensional Art category, Emily Bamberg placed first in the 8-12th grade 2-Dimensiional Art category and Emily Beckham placed second in the 8-12th grade 2-Dimensiional Art category.
At the Camp County Youth Project Photography Show, Chloe Osthoff won Best in Show in the 8-12th grade category, Jennifer Chapina won first place in the 8-12th grade category and Bryan Rodriguez won second place in the 8-12th grade category.
At the Hughes Springs fourth annual Adult & Youth Art and Photography Show, Kate de la Rosa and Emily Bamburg both submitted work and De la Rosa won Best in Show in the youth photography category.
