Memorial golf tourney raises more than $6,000

On Oct. 1, the 16th annual Susan Hicks Motes Memorial Golf Tournament was held to kick o Breast Cancer Awareness month at Princedale Country Club in Pittsburg. Mrs. Hicks’ parents, Ed and Diana Hicks, were in attendance along with her brother and sister in-law, Mike and Teresa Hicks. The tournament raised money to be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Susan’s name due to donations from local businesses for the silent auction, fun hole advantages for cash, cash sponsorships, and raffles.
