The Pirates played the best game this season against Atlanta. Atlanta coming o a lopsided victory over Tatum, a team that had defeated the Pirates earlier, seemed to play hard but just could not get in the game with the Pirates. The Pirates dominated the game form the beginning to the end. Some fans in the stands and some on the side-lines were concerned about this game but the team apparently was ready and well prepared to play. There were outstanding plays made by both o ense and defense. The Pirates running game would not be stopped and defense had sacks, loss of yardage tackles, and interceptions. Quarterback Jaylon Jimmerson played his rst entire game. He played with poise and con dence usually seen in more seasoned quarterbacks. His sophomoric mistakes were few and of no consequence. Jimmerson was 14-20 on the night. at’s a pass percentage of .700 percent. at also says a lot for the Pirate receivers. His passing averaged 13.4 yards with the longest at 69 yards and two touchdowns.
