Gazette: How was the bye week?

“We gave them the day off last Monday afternoon, and last Friday afternoon. So they had all last weekend, and when they came in Monday their legs were a little bit fresher, their energy level is high. We’ve had two good practices this week so far, we had a good week last week. ey’ve been a lot fresher, having about six hours not on the field, we’ve expected a lot more out of them because of that and the practices this week they have met that bar we set for them. I think we’ve had the best practices so far this year in the last two days,” Coach Baca said.
