Weems named president and CEO of FNB Gilmer

Danny W. Weems was recently named president andCEOof First National Bank of Gilmer. Mr. Weems is a native of Idalou and graduated from Idalou High School. He attended and graduated from Lubbock Christian College, Texas Tech Intermediate School of Banking and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking in Dallas. Mr. Weems and his wife Jacque are the parents of Chase, Danielle and Cody. Mr. Weems is a member of the Gilmer Rotary Club and attends Gilmer Church of Christ. He has been with FNB-Gilmer for 12 years as senior vice president and cashier. “We are happy to announce the election of Danny W. Weems as president and CEO of First National Bank of Gilmer,” said Frank Breazeale, chairman of the board of First Gilmer Bankshares.
