One man's opinion

“Oh what a tangled web we weave”

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive.” A famous line from a Scottish poem perfectly describes the manner in which “Big National Media” conducts business these days. Not only do they “practice to deceive” they have turned that deception into an art form. The chances of getting a straight, truthful answer to any question is almost nonexistent. Good luck trying to form an intelligent opinion on either candidate by listening to television or reading the printed word because often the truth is hidden in what they say or print. CBS recently altered an interview with Bill Clinton where he admitted that Hillary had passed “frequently” and later changed it to “rarely.” CBS deleted the “frequently” and edited the conversation to sound plausible. Because of her falling polling numbers, Hillary is claiming Trump`s campaign is built on a lie. She claims the Trump started the birther movement (not believing President Obama was born in the United States) and the liberal media is running with the story. Of course, the Birther movement started with the Democrats who supported Hillary against Obama in 2008. I`m guessing you won`t read that on CNN.
