One man's opinion
Bush could operate a chainsaw but what can Obama do?
by Roy Knox
I am certainly appreciative of the unexpected cooler weather and the unheard of August rain. I have been told there will one to three extra cuttings of hay, another crop of peas, and a chance for late season tomatoes and possibly onions. These fresh vegetables are a gift from above and I plan on not disrespecting Jesus by eating all I can. Don`t believe these liberals when they call it “climate change” is the cause for our cool weather, because it will be hot again by next week. (You know, Global Warming didn’t work out either.) I can’t remember the last time all the yards looked this good in late August. School started today for all students, and the goal for these children is to score as high as they possibly can on all testing. The school administration and the teachers want the best for each student. Parents: I have an idea. If that student is under producing, instead of being mad at the teacher, ask how you (the parent) can help your child do better. The child will do better and school will be more fun for everyone. • Why must a sitting President view a natural disaster? Sending the money it would cost for their visit to the disaster area would be far more beneficial. When President Bush showed up in Louisiana after Katrina, well, at least he knew how to operate a chainsaw. Poor President Obama would only manage to get his loafers wet while viewing the flooding in Louisiana.
