It’s back to school time and football

The official end of summer is Sept. 21, but we all know when school starts the summer is over. The school house doors will be open next Monday morning ready or not. Don`t be too depressed, with the return of the school year; it means it is football time. Yes, it`s Friday night lights, a chance to watch the Pirate football team rack up another victory and to witness one of the finest marching bands in the state, The pride of Pittsburg, the Pittsburg Pirate Marching Band. Aunt Judy and the rest of the administrators can be found there on Friday nights. If your life doesn’t rotate around football or the band who are you? We also have volleyball games in the fall and those girls are good. We always have a great team, it`s always well coached, and it is fun to watch. School is so much more fun than summer, staying up late and sleeping till noon is so over rated. Well, maybe I lied a little bit, but have fun this new school year.
