Lutheran World Missionaries gather at Camp Shiloh Lutheran Retreat

Last week, on the shores of beautiful Lake Bob Sandlin, 35Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) missionaries from all over the globe gathered at Camp Shiloh Lutheran Retreat in Pittsburg. The purpose of their week-long meeting was to discuss plans for future missions and praise the Lord for the blessings he has given to all, to share valuable experiences and make plans for the future. Attendees included missionaries serving all over Asia, Europe, Latin America, Russia, Africa, Indonesia, Hong Kong and many more. ese men and their families are missionaries sent throughout the world by WELS, headquartered in Waukesha, Wis. WELS Missions is reaching out with the saving message of the gospel in the United States, Canada, and 23 foreign countries. WELS Missions continues to plant churches, train leaders, and mentor fellow Lutheran Christians here and abroad.
