Burglaries continue in Carpenter Addition

A rash of burglaries over a period of weeks continues to have police investigating the area around Carpenter Addition and at least one burglary on Quitman Street. Pittsburg Police Chief Richard Penn said the burglaries appear to be happening in the late night and early morning hours. “Investigators are examining evidence that has been recovered from these burglaries,” Chief Penn said. Residents in and around the area are urged to report any suspicious activity immediately.
