School board receives construction update

Charlie Price, the Pittsburg School Board’s contract engineer appeared before the school board ursday, Aug. 4, in a special called meeting, to report the bids for the construction of the multipurpose dressing room and the new parking lot. The slab has been poured and the plumbing has begun, the rest of the construction contracts for electrical, dry wall and other fixtures were approved by the board in the meeting. The original purpose of the building was for a visitors’ dressing room however, the usage plans were expanded to also include the track team, the boys’ soccer team, and now the girls’ soccer team. ere is also a space and lockers for the game o cials and referees also.
