Pittsburg players already hot prospects for college scholarships

The Pirate senior class of 2016 produced nine players that committed to football scholarships. Brian Baca – East Texas Baptist College, Nate Buck, Alex Carlock and Shon Smith– Texas College in Tyler, Quinton Edney – Tyler Junior College, O’Ryan Fisher, Damion Porter, and Hugo Fluellen – Southeastern State University in Durant, OK, and Fe’Zarian Harrison – Stephen F. Austin University. God’s speed to them all. This is one of the largest classes from Pittsburg to sign letters of intent. However, Pittsburg has produced many college athletes, and one NFL player Homer Jones. is year’s prospects are no exception. Senior wide receiver, Dejour Dowell has already had an offer from Stephen F. Austin University. Other prospects include all the seniors on the o ensive line, at tackle - Gabe Peters; offensive lineman - Cade Rester, at guard - Dakota Torrey, at tight end - Bradlee Warrick, and at tackle - Brantley Womack. Some of these young men can also play defense.
