Driver evades arrest; drops dope and flees

Police have issued a warrant for a subject after he ran into a wooded area around Stafford Hill. The subject has been identified by the Pittsburg Police Department but an arrest has not been made. On May 28 at 3:30 p.m., a Pittsburg Police Officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the 200 block of North Greer for a traffic violation. The driver refused to stop and entered a private parking lot. The driver then exited the lot entering Daingerfield Street and eventually stopped the vehicle on Stafford Hill. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area with officers in pursuit.
