Pirate baseball drop third in a row

The Pirates are grappling for position in 4A Region II District 15 Standings. e Pirates lost to Liberty-Eylau at home 6-2. After tying the game in the third, the L-E batter homer to le to go ahead 3-2. It was all defense and tough pitching by both teams until the top of the sixth when L-E drove in another run making it 4-2. Then in the top of the seventh, pitcher Brett McGee was relieved by Jace Wood. Another run scored on a wild pitch and another on a single, to run the score up to 6-2. at’s the way it ended.
