NTCC Culinary School host food fight and edible books competition

The NTCC Culinary School in downtown Pittsburg hosted eight area high school culinary classes in a competition they named a “Culinary Food Fight.” e schools were allowed to enter one team of two to ve members. The schools were Greenville, Sulphur Blu , Hughes Springs, Sulphur Springs, Prairieland, and Chapel Hill in Mt. Pleasant, Pewitt in Omaha, and Texas High, Texarkana. The teams competed in three events, first two members from each team were quizzed on questions concerning, ‘Safety and Sanitation Trivia.’ Students racked up points by giving the correct answer. In second event the same two members competed in a ‘Knife Skills Relay.’
