Pirates blast Atlanta 6-0

The first inning of the Atlanta Rabbits and Pirates’ game saw both teams go three up and three down. In the top of the second, pitcher Brett McGee gave up two hits but good fielding retired the side without a score. In the bottom of the second, Dalton Warrick, singled to left, then made it to third on an error, then Noah Thames stretched a would be single to a double. Warrick scored, when Cristian Netro hit into a field’s choice. Catcher Dakota Torrey, grounded out to retire the side. The third and fourth innings were all defense. The bottom of the fifth started with Torrey ying out to center. Jace wood was hit by a pitch and took his base at first.
