Pirates down Chapel Hill, 2-1

The Pirate baseball team defeated the Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill Bulldogs, 2-1, Friday March 18. Brett McGee pitched four innings, gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six. McGee got the only hit and had one RBI, pitching he had nine rst strike pitches and six strikeouts. Mark Torres pitched two innings in relief, had six first strike pitches, and gave up one run on a elding error.
