Services for Sylvia Ann Marshall, 80, were held Tuesday, Feb. 2 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Stracener officiating. Interment was in Macedonia Cemetery. She was born Nov. 21, 1935 in Pittsburg and she died Saturday, Jan. 30 at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant. She was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Wayne, and wife Betty; a daughter, Linda Howell and husband Jackie; four grandchildren, Misty and Jake Proffitt, Casey and Kari Howell, Erin and Brittany Marshall and David and Whitney Marshall; 11 great-grandchildren: Dakota Durfee and Drake Proffitt; Tristan, Cameron, Aschton, and Slayton Howell; Bryclyn and Maverick Marshall, Hendrix Marshall, Kaden and Kenley Proffitt; one brother, Lawrence Sonny Turnage of Canton; and a nephew, Darrell Wayne Bassinger of Mount Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Cotie Marshall; parents, Ulyss Lawrence Turnage and Vesta Mae Clements Turnage; one brother and one sister. Pallbearers were George French, Darrell Bassinger, Wayne Hadderton, Danny Howell, Melvin Richardson and Johnny Paul Richardson. Memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, P. O.
