Stout

Charles William Stout, 87, was born July 28, 1928 in Omaha, Texas and passed away surrounded by his family on October 12, 2015 in Pittsburg, Texas. Services were held 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Burial was at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation with the family was Thursday evening at Erman Smith Funeral Home. Charles was known as a man who loved the Lord and his family. He was an active member and elder at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Our precious husband, dad, and PawPaw showed his love for others by his actions. His favorite pastime was working in his woodshop where he loved to make furniture, yard decorations, and toys for friends, family and most of all his grandkids. Through his workmanship, hundreds of lives were blessed. Charles and the love of his life, Dorothy, were married for 68 years. He lived out Ephesians 5:25, “Husbands, love your wives, just a Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Stout of Pittsburg; children, Tony and Carol Stout of Landenberg, Pa., Paula and Jim Fox of Pittsburg, Dana and Mike Hymer of Tyler, and Charlyn and Matt Harrel of Pittsburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, Angie and Ray Bowers, Heather and Troy Jestis, Katie Ann Stout, Christopher and Becca Stout, David and Beth Busbee, Jennifer Busbee, Meredith and Christian Scudder, Casey and Hilary Hymer, Ryne Harrel, Abby Harrel; great-grandchildren: Jordan Bowers, Rayley Bowers, Becca Jestis, Lee Jestis, Drew Jestis, Andrea and Allen Trout, Cody Busbee, Carter Busbee, Tabby and Derek Williams, Sydney Kennington, Boomer McDaniel, Blair Scudder, Knox Scudder, Jude Scudder, Jackson Hymer, Hunter Hymer; great-great-grandchildren, Ava Trout and Rylen Busbee, siblings, Jerry Stout of Lufkin, Billy Stout of Lufkin and Loretta Vieregge of Malakoff. He is preceded in death by his, parents, Ernest and Louise Thigpen Stout; daughter, Tracy Stout; granddaughters, Kristi Renee Busbee and Megan Ann Stout; siblings, Ernest Stalkup Stout Jr., Morris Lucky Stout, Billy Joe Stout, Joy Dell Getizi, and Shirley Jane Hilton.
