The $300 helmets are the same kind used by the Dallas Cowboys, but Coach Baca said it’s a small price to pay because, “They are protecting one of the most precious things.”
The helmets feature compression plates, zip tie closures instead of snaps to reduce helmet loss and a longer profile to protect the jawline. Coach Baca also said they’re lightweight and comfortable. “The kids absolutely love them.”
