Pirates take 6th at district track meet

On April 16, the Boys and Girls Varsity and the JV Boys teams completed at the District 15-4A Track and Field Meet, hosted by Atlanta High. Each of the teams placed sixth in their respective division.
In the Varsity Boys class the 4x100 relay team of Deonte Duffey, Trevon Wilson, Z. Harrison and David McClellon finished in fourth place with a 45.635 time. The 4x200 team of Deldric Sheilds, Hugo Fluellen, Duffey, and Harrison recorded a 1:36.636, earning them fifth place. The team of Dalton Earnest, Jakevion Trayler, Kiem Howard and Duffey finished in sixth with a 3:44.243.
