PHS tennis plays in Atlanta tournament

The Pittsburg High School tennis team recently traveled to Atlanta, where they had a good showing overall. Below are the results of the tournament: Boys Singles: Charles Walker-Game 1 loss to Turner (Liberty Eylau) 8-4; Game 2 win to Tally (Hooks) 8-4; Game 3 win to Cox (Redwater) 8-2; Game 4 loss to Montgomery (Paris) 8-3. Girls Singles: Makayla Stratton-Game 1 loss to Stacy (Carthage) 8-1; Game 2 loss to Nix (Hughes Springs) 8-5. Sophie Pinson-Game 1 Loss to Bradley (Arkansas High) 8-2; Game 2 win to McDonalo (Hooks) 8-4; Game 3 win to Smith (Hughes Springs) 6-1; Game 4 Loss to Nix (Hughes Springs) 6-1.
