Eighth grade girls place third at District meet

The Pittsburg Junior High eighth grade girls track team placed third overall recently at the District track meet in The following athletes placed in each of their respective events: Pole Vault: Lessly Garza- second, Tierra Klobucar- third; Long Jump: Kitty Andrews-second, Malaysia Burns-sixth; Discus: Cherish Osborne- second; Shot Put: Savanna Cowen-second; Triple Jump: Malaysia Burns-fifth; 400 Relay: Mckayla Thomas, Kitty Andrews, Malaysia Burns, and Starlit Clearthird; 800m: Marison Barrera- Kennedy-fifth; 100 Hurdles: Kyauna Jonesfifth; 100m: Kitty Andrews- first, Starlit Clearfourth; 800 Relay: Angie Reyes, Mckayla Thomas, Kyauna Jones, and Starlit Clear-fourth; 400m: Malaysia Burns-third; 300 Hurdles: Kyauna Jones-first; 200m: Kitty Andrews-second; 1600m: Angie Reyes-fourth, Emily Bamburg-fifth; 1600 Relay: Malaysia Burns, Emily Calderon, Mckayla Thomas, and Lessly Garza- sixth.
