Schkade& Gaines

Mr. and Mrs. Tony and Amy Gaines of Pittsburg are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Chelsea Page Gaines to Mr. Derrick Michael Schkade. The groom’s parents are Steve and Lea Ann Schkade of Garland. The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Pittsburg High School, and a 2012 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in special education from the University of North Texas, and works in the field of education. Her grandparents are: Verna Hawkins of Pittsburg; Sandra Gaines of Mount Vernon; Bill and Marla Gaines of Daingerfield; Cary and Sue Spence of Winnsboro; and the late Carroll Hawkins. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Naaman Forest High School, and a 2013 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce. He also works in the field of education. His grandparents are: Patricia White of Garland; Marvin Schkade of Farmersville; the late Pete White; and the late Helen Schkade. The couple will wed in July of this year in Royse City and will make their home in Garland.
