Boys basketball closes out season with loss against North Lamar

The Pittsburg Pirates boys basketball squad finished the season last week with a 77-38 loss against the North Lamar Panthers. Dejour Dowell and Sir Charles Perkins led scorers with eight points apiece with Perkins hitting two shots from beyond the arc. Others scoring for the Pirates were: D. J. Porter (three points), Deldric Shields (two points), Terriyan Cuba (two points), Justin Zepeda (three points), Keondre Traylor (two points), E.J. Hill (four points), Williams (four points), and Torres (two points). Pittsburg knocked down nine of 10 shots from the charity stripe as well.
