Pirates lose to Paris 73-41; beat Atlanta 64-50

The Pirates have one game left on the season, a road game against North Lamar which took place earlier this week. At the time of this article, the Pirates had an overall record of 17-11 with a 2-7 mark in district play. The undefeated Paris Wildcats came to town and put on an offense spectacle that the Pirates were unable to match. Leading scorer for Pittsburg was Sir Charles Perkins who had 13 points with nine of those points coming from beyond the arc. Others scoring for Pittsburg were: D.J. Porter, who had four points; Jakevion Traylor who had four points; Justin Zepeda who had three points; Keondre Traylor who had eight points with a three point shot; Dejour Dowell had seven points; and E.J. Hill had two points. The team went three of seven from the charity stripe.
