Pirates drop three decisions last week

The Pirate boys basketball went on a three game skid last week, losing to North Lamar, 59-28; Pleasant Grove, 55-34; and Liberty Eylau, 67-50. With the losses, the Pirates move to 16-10 on the season and 1-6 in district play.
Keondre Traylor led scorers in the game against North Lamar with 10 points, Dejour Dowell had four points, E.J. Hill had three points, D.J. Porter had one point, Jakevion Traylor had four points, and Teryian Cuba and Sir Charles Perkins both knocked down a shot from beyond the arc. Pittsburg also knocked down five of eight shots from the charity stripe.
