Turnage

Johnnie Eugene Turnage Sr., 82, of Leesburg, died, Jan. 29, at Haven Care Nursing and Rehab in Longview. Funeral services were held, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with James Hodgson officiating. Interment was held at Macedonia Cemeteryin Camp County underthe direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Turnage was born on Feb. 24, 1932 in Friendship, Tenn. He was a preacher at Wings Outreach for 12 years, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1975. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Diane Turnage; three sons: Kenneth Lee Turnage, Johnnie Eugene Turnage Jr., Clifford Edward Turnage; one daughter: Cherle Ann Turnage; his sister: Lois Faye Toney, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Turnage was preceded in death by his parents; David Henry and Marietta Climer Turnage, and his son Robert Ray Turnage.
