Prescott-Shurbet wed

Miss Kathryn Beth Shurbet was united in marriage to Mr. William Cody Prescott on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at sunset on The Beach – Gulf  Shores State Park in Alabama. Given in marriage by her father, Katie wore a Maggie Sottero designer gown from the Bethany Collection with ivory and gold accents over light gold. The romantic embroidered lace slim A-line gown was stunning with Swarovski crystals along the strapless, sweetheart neckline and was finished with an illusion chapel length train and crystal buttons. Ms. Sarah Shurbet, sister of the bride, assisted as the maid of honor and read Bible passages from Ruth 1:16 and John 15: 9-12 while eight of Katie’s closest friends served as bridesmaids. Miss Ellie Wooten and Miss Mia Wooten, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls. Mr. Colter Prescott, twin brother of the groom, assisted as the best man while seven of Cody’s closest friends Prescott-Shurbet wed Mr. and Mrs. William Cody Prescott served as groomsmen. Mr. Price Prescott, nephew of the groom, and Mr. Connor Cobern, nephew of the bride, were the ring bearers. Mr. Tanner Lindley, first cousin of the bride, and Mr. Reed Shaw, first cousin of the groom, served as ushers.
