A toast to:
•Glenda Lee for all her efforts in the Tommy Lee Biker Scholarship Fund and the toy drive. This year, 300 Camp County families signed up for toys, many with multiple children. Glenda and her very small staff work tirelessly in helping these families have a Merry Christmas. The same goes for the Tommy Lee Biker Run which is a fundraiser for Camp County Scholarships. What an asset these charities are for our very small community.
•All of the folks who donate to the charities both in name and anonymously. There are some people who give multiple bicycles, along with more expensive gifts. Thanks for having very big hearts.
•Don Talley who provides a venue for toy drop off and for the biker rally. Mr. Talley has been very generous in his contributions to both charities.
•Terry Colvin for restoring the downtown buildings that burned last February. We look forward to what the future brings for our downtown.
•Bo and Patty Pilgrim, officers and directors of Pilgrim Bank. The new bank is a beautiful addition to Pittsburg and Camp County.
