State football champions crowned

Waskom defeated Newton 44-22 to win its first state title. Gilmer won their third state title, defeating West Orange- Stark, 35-25. Crowell and Throckmorton won state titles in Six-Man; 62-16 and 66-20 respectively. Canadian blew out Mason 34-7 to win the 2A Div. I title. Bremond defeated Albany to win a state championship, 28-21.
