Lady Pirates win Hughes Springs tournament

squad came away with a trophy in the Hughes Springs tournament last weekend, defeating Harmony, 49-27 in the championship game. Ayana Palmer led the scoring efforts for the Lady Pirates in theHughes Springs game by producing 15 points, going 5 of 6 from the floor for an 83.3 percent shooting percentage. Shaundrea Rhymes had 12 points; Kaycee Parker had eight points; Nakaya Brown had six points; Taylor Leonard had four points; and D’Maya Hashaway had two points.
