NTCC men's soccer team hangs on to national ranking

The Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Men’s Eagles Soccer team split two games this week defeating Jacksonville College and falling to Tyler Junior College (ranked third in the nation) in overtime. The Eagles remain ranked seventh in the nation according to the National Junior College Athletic Association coaches poll this week.
Salvador Valencia defended his goal against eight of 10 shots during Saturday’s game against Tyler. Gabriel Cavalcante made the first goal for the Eagles at 67 minutes in, assisted by Rimario Gordon.
