Pittsburg vs. Gladewater comes in at #9 on ETSN countdown

Pittsburg isn’t a team getting a lot of love at the state level, but we believe the still somewhat young Pirates are a real threat to contend to the District 7-4A Division I crown with 15 starters returning to the 2014 team from a squad that made the area round of the playoffs last season.
They’re going to get a good test from Gladewater on Sept. 5 at the Bears’ Jack V. Murphy Stadium.
It’s the No. 9 game in ETSN.fm’s top 25 match ups of the 2014 season, and it begins a rough two-game, non-districtstretch for Pittsburg with a trip to New Boston the very next week.
