A lesson in a struggle is a blessing in disguise

Frabjous Life
by Lydia Loftis
The other night I was able to go to my church and sharemy testimony with the youth. By testimony I mean who I was and who I am becoming by the grace of Father God. I am not perfect that’s for sure. Just like everyone else has their issues and struggles, I have mine too. Some of the struggles that I have faced in life so far seem rather small and some rather large; nonetheless it’s all a part of life. Every single person has struggles. It’s inevitable.
I’ve grown up and am growing up in a Christian home in which I’m blessed to be a part of. Just because I am a Christian it doesn’t mean that I’m perfect and struggle free. It probably means the exact opposite! I’m a messed up person with issues that needs God to save me! If being a Christian made one perfect and struggle free it would be easy and everyone would want to be a Christian. The journey that we as Christians have with Father God isn’t supposed to be like a walk in a ball park, it’s supposed to be difficult. If it weren’t difficult I wouldn’t need God right? But it is difficult so I do need God; I need Him more than anything. There’s nothing that I can do on my own apart from Him that’s going to prosper. His is the Kingdom, not mine.
I say all this to say that every single person has struggles rather they’re a Christian or not. We have struggles and issues that need to be addressed and dealt with. Perhaps they need to be approached later or perhaps they really just need to be addressed now and we’ve been running away or burying the issues. It’s so much easier to bury the issue or to run from it than it is to face it. Let me tell you something though: whatever the issue is big or small God is big enough. Maybe it’s something utterly huge like a struggle with finances or maybe it’s something small like you lied to your momor your coworker. Whatever the issue is Father God is big enough to take care of it!
