Mr. and Mrs. David Cain of Eastland are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Nicole Cain to Kevin “Luke” Sewell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Sewell of Strawn and Ms. Tammie Kisner and Mr. Larry Walton of El Campo.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Eastland High School and a 2011 graduate of Howard Payne University.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of El Campo High School and is currently serving in the United States Army in Fort Riley, Kan.
The couple is planning a wedding at the First United Methodist Church on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Eastland.
