Saturday Night Live Street Ministries
Members from the Saturday Night Live Street Ministries invite everyone to street ministries.  It will be held the second Saturday night of each month at 6 p.m. at True Hope Fellowship Ministries, 105 Jefferson St.
 
“He Lives” egg hunt
An Easter egg hunt is scheduled Saturday, April 19  from 2 to 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church located at 115 Mount Pleasant St. 
 
Living Last Supper
A re-enactment of the Last Supper will be held Thursday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg located at 115 Mount Pleasant St.
 
Pastor’s appreciation service
Members of the Mount Lebanon Mount Lebanon Christian Methodist Episcopal Church wishes to invite everyone to an appreciation service for the Rev. Michael Rush.   The Rev. Jerral Walker of the Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Naples will be the speaker.  
 
Sunrise Service
The Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will host a “Sunrise Service,” Easter Sunday at 6 a.m. The church is located on Farm-to-Market Road 2254, 3.5 miles east of Pittsburg.  The service will consist of a Sunrise (morning service); followed by breakfast and Sunday school at 9 a.m. Pastor-Moderator the Rev. Victory Garden workday 
The Emmanuel Baptist Church is sponsoring a victory garden.  It will provide fresh vegetables to the community.  A work day is being held on Saturday, April 26 from 8 a.m. until noon.  Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to come.  The garden is located at the church at 831 Loop 179.
 
Easter Sunrise Service
The New Way Country Church will host an Easter Sunrise Service around the campfire on April 20 at 6:15 a.m. at the church.  Breakfast will be served following the service.  A children’s activity will follow the breakfast.  Regular service will be at 10:30 a.m.  The church is located 12 miles north of Gilmer and 7 miles south of Pittsburg on Highway 271 at the Upshur and Camp County line.
 
Easter Sunrise Service
The Camp County Fellowship Churches will host an Easter Sunrise Service on Sunday April 20 at the Mount Lebanon Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.  The services will begin 7 a.m. A sunrise breakfast will be served following the service. Passion Week services
The Camp County Fellowship Churches will host  Passion Week Services on Sunday, April 16 – 18 beginning at 7 p. m. each night. It will be held at the Pine Bluff First Baptist Church. For information please call Bro. Robert Heath at 903-563-9280.
 
Camp County Republicians’ April 
meeting cancelled
The Camp County Republican’s cancelled the April meeting because it falls on Easter weekend and many of our members will be spending time with their families.  
Be sure and mark your calendar for the May meeting  on the third Saturday, May 17,  9 a.m.,  at Pizza Inn.  An email notice will be sent prior to the meeting as a reminder.
 The run-off election is May 27 and all the precincts will vote at the Courthouse.  Early voting for the run-off will  be May 19-23 in the Courthouse basement.
