Wilbert taken into custody

Pittsburg Police Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Fairview on Dec. 17 at 12:33 p.m.
Officers were unable to make contact with anyone inside of the residence but were finally able to locate the alleged victim. The suspect, identified as Corey Dewayne Wilbert, 33, could not be located.
Officers received credible information that Wilbert was inside of the residence. Wilbert was known to have several outstanding arrest warrants including a felony arrest warrant. Another occupant of the residence denied that Wilbert was inside of the residence.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence. Pittsburg Police Officers along with a Camp County Deputy Sheriff located Wilbert in the residence and he was taken into custody.
Tavoka Grant, 37, was also arrested for hindering apprehension or Prosecution.
