Shannon Davis of the Winnsboro Livestock Commission, 903-365-2201, reported a total of 610 head of cattle moved through the auction on
Dec. 27, at the following prices:
•Steers, under 300 pounds, $1.70-$2.75 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.50-$2.60 a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.15-$1.60 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.15-$1.60 a pound.
•Heifers, under 300 pounds, $1.50-$2.55 a pound; 300-400 pounds, $1.40-$2.10  a pound; 400-500 pounds, $1.10-$1.80 a pound; over 500 pounds, $1.10-$2.50 a pound.
•Packer cows, $55 - $1.01
•Packer bulls, $80 - $1.10
•Cows and heifers, $950 - $1975
•Cow/Calf Pairs, $1200-$2050 a head.
• Baby calves, $15 - $310 a head.
